After it rained the other day I got in my Y to head to the airport. When I accelerated out of the neighborhood water started pouring out from under my glovebox.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix that?

I do not know how to fix your problem. I honestly wanted to know what was leaking.

Most ICE cars have their fresh air intake on the cowl in close proximity to the glove box, so assuming that is still the case here you may look and see if you can perform a quick duct tape repair if the car has to sit outside at all between now and when it can be serviced. Sounds like dash removal may be necessary, but hopefully not for your sake.

Pop the hood. Check and/or cleanout the cowl area under the windshield.

I invested in this for my model 3. https://abstractocean.com/products/m3-intake-cover?variant=41791004049581 There is surely something similar for the Y.

The area under the glove box is where your AC is. You either got rainwater in, or something got plugged up in the AC system.

If that doesn't fix it, and your car has a sunroof, I'd clean the drains.
