Long story short, father passed and left Mercedes convertible in the garage. It hasn't been driven in months so the battery is dead. Any recommendations on what charger I should purchase before I put this car on a battery tender?

I use Schumachers for all of my cars. This one has charge/maintain, boost, and start modes.

I've had this Clore for a few years

Mac and Matco rebrand it for a lot more money. I bought it after 4 Noco G3500 quickly died over a few months in 2019. It's the only newer electric charger I've had that has actually lasted.

A lot of folks on here have had good luck with Noco stuff. Maybe it's my use cases, but none of their products have performed to my expectations or even their advertised claims.

I have a Noco Genius 10 charger which does well, but not impressed with the Noco GB40 jump box. It quit holding a full charge years ago, will only show 3/4 power bars lit. It's starting performance lacks as well

I bought a GB150 2-3 years ago at Tractor Supply when one of the batteries on my 6L diesel crapped out in their parking lot. Advertised to start a 7L diesel but couldn't crank the 6.0 fast enough to start. Had to go in and buy a new Traveler battery that worked no problem.

I've tried it a few more times on that truck and others. It works ok in a gas car but goes into overheat protection quickly. I've gone back to the old heavy lead jump'n'carry. They're pretty bullet proof and work every time.

The GB40 isn't able to start the engine in racetruck, unless the GB40 is charged as much as possible and the battery in the truck is just shy of being able to start itself lol
