My wife has a 2016 Suburban and its time for a trade. One of the things I hate is dealing with car salesmen. Is there any Aggies or Aggie owned dealers, or just a dealer in general that you've had a good experience with? She wants to go with a GMC AT4 with the diesel. Very few are out there right now and we may just have to order one. We are in North Texas. Thanks in advance!

I have not used them but almost did.

Laura Buick GMC does online purchases and will have it delivered to you. They have great prices that maybe you could beat with hours of shopping but it'll be easy.

Had a great experience at Covert GMC in Austin buying my wife's Yukon Denali. They will deliver anywhere in the state if you prefer to get the deal done remotely. I bought my F250 from Covert ford in 2015 and that was equally good. My experience is that if you can get the deal done over the phone you will probably have a good experience overall. The dealers that force you to come in are the ones who are hiding something.

My wife has decided she want the same thing. AT4 and a diesel. Any luck with the above contacts of anything else you can share about the experience?

Looks like Laura only offers 3rd Party extended warranty (via CNA). How difficult is it to purchase a GMC extended warranty after vehicle purchase?

Also, any Central TX dealers that are great to use? I don't mind getting a vehicle delivered, but would much rather go local if possible.

Best place I found to buy a genuine GM extended warranty is from Dave Knapp Chevrolet. Bought one for my AT4 with the 6.2L.

thanks! I also came across this post from reddit and wanted to leave it here for folks:

Quote:

I purchased a '23 AT4 3.0L a few months back and refused to buy the extended warranty for almost $4000 at time of purchase, through a 3rd party. I wanted a GM Platinum Warranty 7yr/100,000mi, $0ded. Plus I have a ReadyLift kit on my truck so it was recommended that I opt to add the lift/tire surcharge. I found one local Chevy dealer selling the GM warranty for $3600. PASS. I then contacted Knapp in Adrian, MI who offered the warranty for what would have been roughly $2700 after surcharge. Then I found a couple people recommending to contact Todd Sutherland at MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua, NH. I emailed him and he called me and set me up with the GM Warranty with the lift/tire surcharge for $2490 (would have been $2190 w/o surcharge). If interested you can contact him at todds@thompsonauto.net. He's a straight shooter.
