The engine is new for the last model year and essentially the same engine that is in the Silverado and Colorado. I only offered it as a comparison to some of the cheaper cars offered. It obviously doesn't compete with BMW on anything(except perhaps lifespan). They can be had well equipped new for 40ish. It's a perfectly acceptable tool for transportating 4-5 adults comfortably to the airport.
