Much respect for listing it as automatic and not a manual like a lot of DCT/F1 transmission sellers do. Makes it very hard to filter for gated manuals.

One more pedal and that thing would sell in a second. Still one of my favorite Ferraris of all time

The car benefits from regular servicing, including an engine-out belt service in February 2022, clutch replacement in June 2022,

You don't have to take the engine out to do the belt service so why would they do that ?

Also $90k is a little high for a non-red with F1 transmission and 35k miles.

A friend has a 360 like this that a previous owner had the transmission converted to standard, and what seemed to me like basic issues like syncros turned into $25K+ and months at a shop. I think the wait to find some rare parts in Italy caused the delay.

Anyway, I guess that's the joy of owning a Ferrari.

Anyway, beautiful car.

I think those swaps are about $25K to start with. The swapped cars are more valuable than the F1 cars, but still not as valuable as the original gated cars. 360/430/599s are all awesome bargains in the gated Ferrari world if you're willing to buy an F1 and have it swapped. Gated cars have gone way up in value.

Seems like easy money for Ferrari to build some gated low model cars, but they're too stubborn and obsessed with track numbers instead of the driving experience.

Not really.

They haven't made a manual since the F430 (2009) because no one was buying them. Only about 1/4 of the 360's were ordered with a manual and less than 10% of the F430's were ordered with a manual. So the 458 were all 7-speed dual clutch cars.

In the mid 2010's, manual's suddenly were desirable strictly b/c they were "rare" and had the name Ferrari. Not because people want to shift gears. With Ferrari's, its always about how rare something is that really ads value (which is why this OP 360 is still for sale, asking to much for an off-color F1 360 with 35k miles).

Developing a new manual to go with their current line up would not be a simple as bolting in the old 6-speed with an adapter kit onto the current line of engines. It would cost a ton of money and time and they'd still not get ordered.

You can still get a BMW M3 and M4 with a manual. No one orders them.

If I had an extra $100k laying around, I'd swap out my 360 manual for a 458 or 488 in a heartbeat.

I think that's what he said about the initial price tag. The price came up when I asked if I could get a Maserati Granturismo and do the swap; he let me know if would cost about the same as the car.
