Mazda makes a sneaky nice ride. We had a CX-9 for 5 trouble free years before we had a 3rd kid . Fun to drive and didn't break the bank. super reliable.

It's not a brand I would've usually looked at but reviews for the CX-90 were off the charts positive, went to look at one and take a test drive and was super impressed. Ride is great, interior quality is on par with some luxury vehicles, and the price is right.

And having driven Audis and BMWs in the past the solid reliability (and probably more accurately the dealership costs and hassle) is a big plus as well.

Yup, their packaging and overall value is pretty impressive. We went with the midrange model and it feels pretty loaded (full leather, moonroof, dual climate controls, wireless charging/CarPlay, second row captains chairs, heated seats, rear view camera) and were out the door under 50k.

I'd say it's worth a drive just to use a comparison point if nothing else.

my 2 cents: if you don't need or have to have a new car....and you say you can't get excited about anything you've seen then i would say wait. new models/features body styles will come out, wait until something hits you.

why spend it unless you just want to spend it.

Acura MDX with either Technology or A-Spec package. Very reliable, easy to drive, and very powerful with a comfortable ride.
I looked at the MDX , but no spare tire was a dealbreaker for me.

I've actually started to lean that way. I might wait and see how we get on with 2 cars. Maybe use an Uber if we get in a bind.

Hadn't really looked at those before. They look like a solid option.

Genesis has stand alone dealerships now. I understand that folks are having a much better dealership and service experience. Guy I golf with has a GV80. Best vehicle he has ever owned, and he has driven a lot of luxury models.

Should have thought about the Genesis GV80. Those are badass as are all of their models.

They've had dealerships for a while now. His experience sound really positive but I've been curious about service/reliability on them, they look great and are really nicely equipped but reliability ratings are a bit spotty.
