I'll keep this short.
2023 F350 Supercab Longbed SRW
71k miles
Michelin AT tires with 20k miles form DTC
Several weeks ago I noticed a vibration at about 30 mph. It would subside at around 40mph then rumble around 60 mph.
DTC took the tires off to check the balance and tires were good.
I then took the truck to the Ford dealership and they said the driveshaft was "Bent " but showed no evidence of an impact. The video they took confirmed it was bent. Fortunately I have an extended warranty and it will cover the cost to repair.
My question is what would cause the driveshaft to get "bent" after 71k miles? Why would I only feel the vibration now? My days of mudding are long gone.
TIA
Edit- I pull a 34' RV that might weight 13k lbs including 2 batteries and all the usual stuff. Thats well below Fords weight range.
