I have been looking for the right car for Abu Dhabi and after a long extensive search, I made my choice. I spend about 9 months a year in Abu Dhabi and the rest back in Houston and while in the states I drive a Bronco Raptor, but wanted something a little more luxury while in AD.
A lot of the parking is in garages and the spots are no where near is wide as in Texas so I had to get something that would be easy to park. The challenge was at 6'5" 300 pounds I don't fit in absolutely anything. I went to Grok on X and asked for the most spacious driver's seat interior that also had a compact width and length and it spit out a few choices: Mercedes Benz SLE, BMW X5, and the Genesis GV80.
I rented each one for a week or so, and it was no contest: The GV80 is amazing, and was the least expensive by far. It feels like riding in a sensory deprivation chamber compared to the road noise of my bronco. I'm still getting used to the infotainment bells and whistles, but I am blown away by the value of this.
This is my first non-American car.
