I spent a week working at the refinery in McPherson. Longest week ever. Also , the hottest ambient temperature I have seen. It was like 113 F on the ground just outside the unit. Hot and boring. No thanks.

One of my friends that works at Hagerty recently took a few classes there.

Very interesting. I may do the same at some point.

I hope enough people take the classes to keep it open. We need good people in this business. I've hired a few grads from WyoTech. Some have been great, others not so great.

I had a guy start yesterday who graduated from UTI in Houston a few weeks ago. He went through an autobody program they offer. I have my fingers crossed that he does a good job, learns as we teach him real life restoration and body repairs, and shows up to work each day, which is a problem with today's generation.

Wow, I live an hour south in Wichita. I think I'll need to check this out and see if they have night classes I can make work with my day job.

try living there 92-94 lol.
