I've got a 2019 F150 still with the original battery. My wife drives a 2021 Ford Bronco. Recently had to change my wife's battery and it got me thinking about the battery in the F150. One of the first things I did when I bought the truck was use Forscan to turn off the auto start/stop and to turn off the seatbelt dinging and other annoying things. At the time, disabling the BMS was the only way to turn off the Auto Start/ Stop. I can't help but wonder if disabling the BMS is the reason my battery has lasted this long versus the Bronco's?
