2021 Highlander XLE. $350 cheapest so far.

No aftermarket keys?

I've got a 2017 mustang I need a new fob for...cheapest I've found programmed is $285.

They're just pricey

Surprised everyone else has been so slow to copy Tesla and ditch fobs

Most new vehicles have the option of using an app, like Tesla.

I like the option, because I don't always take my phone everywhere (gym, outdoors, etc).

But older models don't have that option.

I love that my phone is my Tesla key but it has lead to me forgetting my wallet a ton. I used to keep the fob and my wallet together but now there's no fob so I just grab my phone and go. Then I get wherever I'm going and hopefully they take Apple Pay.

If you are a Costco member they have a van traveling around to different location and did my f-150 key and fob for $150. 3 year warranty. I'll post the name once I get back home.

Right. Even without the phone Tesla gives you the two card "keys". There's zero reason to still be using key fobs in 2025.

I used these guys for 2 new keys/fobs for my son's 08 Accord. It came with the programmer, but I had a local shop cut the keys for me. I think it was ~ $250 when it was all said and done.

He'd broken the one fob he had and only had the valet key.

If you go this route and have actual keys, make sure you have a shop in town that will cut them for you. Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc. will only cut keys they sell.

It seems like those MinuteKey kiosks in Lowes offer car keys and fobs now. I haven't tried them though.
