Guys, my wife has a 2019 Honda Odyssey Elite minivan that has ~98,000 miles on it. It's in pristine condition with no nicks/dings, etc. It has been in two accidents that were not our fault and has been repaired both times. One fix was less than $400 (damage to bumper) and the other was to our quarter panel and was less than $1,500 to fix.

Interior is in immaculate condition. We have all service records. The timing belt has been replaced as have the control arms (car was repaired in December and realigned). It's also riding on brand new Michelin tires which ran me about $1100 in December. We don't want to leave value on the table but at the same time we are negotiable. What's a fair ask price for such a vehicle? Color is the typical Honda grey, and the leather interior is also the light grey. Everything works and the oil has had full synthetic run through it its entire life. Your help is much appreciated.

*NADA shows a value of about $27,000 but wanted to get other opinions on that price.

Just keep it.

It's cheaper to gas, maintain, insure, drive, etc and has far more cargo volume and space than just about any but the largest SUV's, which will cost you 1.5x as much to operate.

I'd look at KBB. Then I'd look up similar vans for sale on autotrader, cars.com etc. This will give you the real value. Price it about 10-15% below what dealers are doing and go from there. $27k car isn't a cash car and most will need financing. Unfortunately you're not going to give financing so it's an extra step buyers are going to have to jump through. This is why you need to price it below dealers.

Put it into the online evaluation services like carmax, driveway, Carvana. They will give you a very accurate number. Carmax is laying the wood on used values right now.

Look at auto trader listings for same year, trim, miles. That will give you retail ask. Private party is somewhere in between those numbers.

Book values are at least 30 days old data.
