North Park Lincoln in San Antonio is a great dealership.

Aviators have a pretty bad reliability rating on Consumer Reports. Not sure why Lincoln couldn't get it sorted out. There's nothing inherently difficult about building a mid sized SUV. Great looking vehicles.

I drove from Houston to San Antonio to buy my Navigator from them. Much less slimy than the Houston Lincoln dealers. They treated me pretty well. My experience is from 2019 so I can't really say what they will be like in 2026.

When I bought mine, we negotiated everything, including trade-in, by text message. Then they drove the Navigator to my house near Corpus. We did the paperwork on my kitchen table, and they drove our trade-in back.

We tried to get service done locally and it was a disaster. We always take it back to Northpark for service and they have been great.

All of their dealerships are outstanding. I bought my Ram from their dealer in Castroville in November and was very pleased with the transparency, service, and the ease of the transaction.

I reviewed a lot of on-line forums before I bought my wife's Aviator in November and most of the feedback I found was on the positive side. Time will tell how it holds up over the long run, but my initial impressions are really positive. It seems very solid and the fit and finish are excellent. I was a little worried about the ride with the 22" wheels but it has been great. One recommendation I have is to opt for the full console for the second row if going with captains seats. It's an inexpensive option and the standard mini console looks really cheap IMO. It's surprising even the higher trim packages didn't come standard with the full 2nd row console.

I reached out to North Park, but ended up going with Rogers Lincoln in Midland because they had exactly what we were looking for in stock. They were super easy to work with and Rogers had everything ready to go (with no surprises) when I flew out to pick it up. Both were comparable price wise (with no add-ons) and I had a good experience with both. I can't say that about the Houston Lincoln dealer I visited.

Yeah, my experiences with three of the Houston Lincoln dealers was negative. West Point, Planet Lincoln and Bayway were all shady to varying degrees.

Long drive out to Midland - you were committed!

Not happy with ours. My wife loves it. I hate it. The auto stop function is difficult to override. And the auto stop causes the front end to drop a couple of inches. That has prematurely caused wear on the front suspension parts. Fortunately that has been under warranty. It will happen again.

And I will complain to someone way up in the company. It should become a class action claim or recall.

Buyer beware. I am going to research Forscan to prevent the above.

Got ours through West Point Lincoln in Houston. Buying process was excellent and their service department has always been good. They always have complimentary loaners available.

We have an original 2020 that's been fine sans the recalls, but I'd buy another one. We did buy an extended warranty though which paid off for the one electrical item that went out just outside of original warranty.

West Point likes to make up expensive, fictional repairs to recommend. I was looking at a new Navigator and they told me my old one needed a water pump, so they docked the trade in value. They wanted over $1k to install a new water pump. I turned them down and drove home in the old navigator with the old water pump. That was over two years ago and the water pump has never acted up this whole time. There were a couple previous instances like that. Im done with them.

I posted here years ago about taking my company GMC Sierra there to get service. They recommend a transmission service, and had it completed in less than an hour. I ended up taking a sample of the ATF and sending it to blackstone and they said it was definitely not changed. I called them out and they admitted fault, but how many others got that same treatment?

Interesting. Appreciate sharing. Haven't had any issues, and I'm generally highly suspicious of any service businesses.
