Not sure exact year but it's 2020s model year I know that.

I don't believe for a second that the 10 speed transmission issues are solved.

I have a 2019 Expediton Max Plat I bought new through our favorite TV Ford hookup which was of course seamless so thankful for that part of ownership. Dealership had it for about 3 weeks waiting on parts and all with cam phasers prob 4 years ago then about 3-4 months ago the transmission started failing at 71k miles. Started going completely out 1-2 times a day so limped in a few weeks ago to dealer. Thank goodness at the time I extended with Ford warranty a few years as this was a $5k repair with parts and labor. Picked it up Tuesday and everything is silky smooth now but I'm very likely selling it prior to warranty running out. Right now I absolutely love the size for our family trips, features, power, ride but lost complete trust in its reliability.

They're hard to find and I had to drop everything and make a cross state run to buy one as soon as it popped up for sale but the duramax suburbans/yukons XLs are awesome. We found a used one last summer with 4WD, RST package, and max tow. Best SUV we've ever owned so far. Incredible fuel mileage, plenty of cargo, smooth ride, and effortless torque for running up mountain passes out west or hauling our RV. Routinely get 27-30 mpg on the highway and 20-23 in mixed driving. When towing I've gotten 13-16 pulling my 24' bunkhouse RV.

We have 3 in car seats and went with the captains chairs this time. We had another suburban with a 2nd row bench. The bench was better when they were all rear facing or unable to do their buckles. Now that my older two boys are forward facing and can do their buckles we put their car seats in the 3rd row with my daughter rear facing in one of the 2nd row chairs. That leaves and open 2nd row seat that another adult passenger or my wife can sit in on longer road trips.
