What's yall opion on the mdx type s advance. Good houston dealership

My wife LOVES her MDX, and it is very fun to drive with a ton of power/torque/go with how the 3.5L is tuned. Combined with typical Honda reliability, it was a no-brainer for me to get for her.

My wife has a 2025 A-Spec, so it might not apply to the type-s, but the interior cabin noise is loud. I suggest paying attention to that during a test drive and see if it's acceptable.

Aside from that, she loves everything else about it.

I just spent most of today at Gillman Acura in Spring buying a used car for a kid. Love their MDXs and their Integra Type S they had on the floor was awesome. People were very nice. That's all I got.

I don't have the MDX, but I do have the TLX Types S. I love everything about the car and the Turbo 6 shags ass. My only real complaint is that I wish drive settings were on the steering wheel instead of the knob. I switch between sport and normal pretty regularly based on varying drive conditions during my commute. They are no longer making the TLX so when I am due for a new car in 2028 I will most likely go with the MDX Type S.

All I can say is that I have a 2009 MDX I just rolled over 200k that I'm trying to drive until it dies so I can replace it and it just won't kill over. They seem to have built them pretty well.

Great looking car. Shame they are killing it. I would have put this on my list for consideration in '27.

Both our kids have RDX's. One's in college and the other in HS. So far they've been great, great vehicles. Dependable and easy to drive. Good visibility. Good acceleration. Not super expensive to maintain.

Wife has the Advance trim and loves it...very, very comfortable! We've had it a year now and have zero regrets and plan on keeping this one a long time.
