In a perfect world, I'd like to rent a very specific Jeep for my 79 year old dad for a week, so that he can make an informed decision on whether to buy one. His first car was an old Willys and he's always wanted another one. He says he doesn't need a truck for truck things anymore and if he needs to drive long distance comfortably he has my mom's car for that. But the fiscal conservative in him won't ever do it unless he's prodded. I've searched on Toro but can't find what he's wanting nearby (Conroe/Houston area). I fully realize he might drive it for a week and decide it's too difficult to climb in and out of, but I'd like to give him the opportunity to decide for himself. Would probably need to add steps if he ever bought one,

Research shows that color was only available late 2019 thru 2020, then again in 2024.

Any suggestions on where else I could find one to rent for him?

Already tried. Closest one is 2.5 hours away.

My daily driver is a 2020 Bikini Pearl 4 Door but it's a Rubicon rather than a Willys.

The only real major differences between that and a new one that you could rent from National or whomever, is that after 2024, they now include head side airbags and I think the 2025-2026 models have more screen real estate.

If you want to come down to Galveston, I'm happy to let your dad take mine for a spin. I just can't let you have it for a week (because my backup - 1999 Expedition - is currently getting repainted)
