Walmart+ is also $.10 a gallon off all their pumps. I save more than the $99 membership fee on just fuel discounts.

The Rockwall TA is $4.02 and the Loves is $4.04/gal right now on the OpenRoads app. That isn't a bad discount, and you can pay at the high flow pumps.

It is nuts that diesel was ~$3.25 a gallon a month ago.

Down to $2.92 in Aggieland last week and saw it this morning for $4.56. But, I never expected to save money buying a diesel truck.

Last Friday diesel was $3.09 at a local station in a small town, was $4.09 at noon today.

Good think the TDi gets 45+ MPG.

I have a 62 gallon tank on a 2002 Sierra 2500. At $4.20, that's about $260.

The good news is that it's still about 2/3 full of cheap diesel, which means I have about 700 miles until empty.

I have hopes the price is better then.

I've used it multiple times in a day, no problem. It is 10c off at the Walmart/murphy stations and Exxon/Mobil stations. You can buy at Sam's with it too if not a member.

The catch is probably you can't share it with your spouse. I have to log out of the app for my wife to log in and use it.

Between 10c off at Exxon and free Paramount+, it's the best subscription deal. You're paying $99/yr the delivery/pickup service, the fuel discounts and Paramount are lagniappe.

gas isn't much cheaper at $3.69 and my wife's pretentious Denali has to use premium at $4.09.

One of my moron cousins bought a new Tahoe last year and then traded for the diesel version three months later because "it gets better mileage"

But he also works as salesman for a GM dealer so he effectively sold the car to himself to get the commission. I'm sure he still came out negative on the deal.

Up over $4.50 in Georgia. I have a Tesla for daily commute thank God.

My truck had another DEF warning come on last weekend. I am pissed I did not do the DEF delete.

No catch so far. They do pass through billing via their fuel card/app. IIRC, there's an extra charge if you fund the passthru with a credit card but no charge for using a bank account. You pay 10% of the savings and a $.65 transaction fee per fill. Filling up in the high flow lanes when pulling a trailer or in an RV is nice.

Walmart+ has replaced a lot of my Amazon shipping. I'm 10+ miles from the closest store, but they still deliver same day as part of that $99 fee, and I can get stuff delivered within an hour for an extra $10. The gas discount is just icing on the cake. It's been a game changer living in the "sticks" where Amazon doesn't offer same day/next day delivery.
