Don't forget the 4.7 mile wide turning radius. You can't have a legit 80's truck unless you have to start turning last Sunday to make it.

And the engine would almost stall and the radio volume would momentarily drop as you turn on those big KC lights on the roof.

I have tremendous nostalgia for the 80's, but it was not a bright spot for automotive performance.

Had an '80's F-150 with an extended cab, red vinyl seats, vent windows, a manual transmission, dual gas tanks, and that venerable inline-6 engine. It smelled like Copenhagen, stale beer, and freedom!

Damn I miss that truck...
