Is this supposed to be ground breaking? It looks pretty much like the old one IMO.

Looks like the Silverado HD and Colorado had a baby

Only so much you can do with a truck exterior, but as they say "it's what's inside that counts"...

Interior looks a lot different and all new V8s under the hood with no AFM/DFM.

Will there be a color option other than 3 different shades of cream & gray in premium trim?

A lot of the features in that pic of the new interior are currently in the Escalade

Looks pretty much like the Tahoe & Suburban do now, inside & out.

Don't be shocked when the GMC does the same thing with the Sierra.

I like the look of it, but glovebox screens are stoopid. More importantly if they didn't improve the seats I'll pass.

Something seems off with the exterior and at first glance, looks worse than the current generation.

It's the cab for me. It looks like GM just put updated hood/fenders/bed on a 2014 cab. The flares in the fenders just don't flow into the flat doors

I think that's the artwork rendering. Looks like they didn't draw in the joint between the door and the fender. It just stops when the a-pillar hits the fender.

Interior basically looks the same as my current gen AT4

More over priced pieces of crap with components that will out right fail or be obsolete in two years with no way of repairing them.

Damn rolling smart phones with bigger price tags.

I think they look nice....but not a lot different. Just a few styling features here or there.

The inside looks very similar to the 2022 I have now.

With how bad their engines have been lately, I wouldn't touch one of these new ones with a 10' pole until there are enough guinea pigs out there.

If there's a generation called "cat eyes" what do you call this gen?

You could make this case with almost every brand right now. Depends on which specific model/engine.

I was looking at the latest complete year-end info the other day and the F-150 Powerboost was listed as the least reliable of full-size trucks. The 1500 still has lifter issues. The Tundra V6 Turbos continue to fail at a high rate. Ram, surprisingly, seems to be best at the moment.

It sucks, but it's really a crap shoot right now, with regards to reliability; but I agree...let everyone else buy the first year model and see how things shake out.

I was on the fence about waiting to see what Chevy would come out with but I just didn't have confidence and didn't want to wait an additional 1-2 years. I ended up buying a new Ram with the hemi a few weeks ago. Love it so far.

I drove a Rebel, as a rental, for a week recently...with the hurricane engine.

It was super nice. The ride was the smoothest I've ever had in a truck.

I'm curious if the 2500 has as nice of a ride?

I had a RAM 2500 for a rental a few weeks ago and it was pretty rough. Granted I only went from Hobby to Galveston and back and all of those roads are pretty turrible.

What is a glovebox screen? I assume this to be a screen that is over the glovebox, but I don't see that here.

I see. The trend of expanding screens across the entire dash is stupid and frankly dangerous.

Cover the top of the cab in the OP artwork with your hand or finger and you'd swear that was a photo of a short bed single cab. None of the proportions look right in that rendering.

Two door Tahoe for the love of God, GM. Just do it.

I traded in my Silverado 3500 for a Ram 2500 and I love it. I don't think the ride was that much better in my Silverado, even being IFS.

Didn't Trump say he was going to roll back CAFE requirements, or am I imagining that?
