Insane group in front of the pack so far at WSER. Not much separation so far.
Have the WS100 stream going all day.
On the men's side. Katie already crushing it.
top 3 women are crushing it. But there's still a lot of race to go.
No way they stay on this pace, but it'll be exciting to see if they prove me wrong.
With the paces being thrown down, I predict we are going to see some blow ups from some of these men and women, but I also feel like we are going to see some really fast times overall, even if no course records happen.
There has to be some blowups, right? I wonder if Courtney is regretting not running. I can never really tell how much of a competitive spirit she has. Obviously, she likes to win, but I don't know how much the competitiveness drives her since we never really see her actually competing.

My wife signed up for Sean O'brien 100k, so that probably means no return to Black Canyon for me. Gotta figure out my WS100 qualifier for next year.

(Meant Thumbs Up) Completed my first ultra today, the Silverton Alpine 50K. The elevation (topped out at 12,900 feet) was rough on my gulf coast lungs, but I finished.
My training partner was really sick and she told me to leave her, but that wasn't going to happen. We've run too many hard days together for me to just say "ok, hope ya feel better. So I worked as a pacer and we got it done.
