In for the half. Weather looks really warm for February.

Yuck, I would not like those temps. I won't be running it this year but I really enjoyed it when I ran the full back in 2022. They do a good job with the race weekend.

Good luck!

Yeah weather looks like **** for the first time in a decade. In for the half, but I haven't really done any training because of a bad calf muscle. Its gonna suck for me.

I'm running the half. Really disappointed in the weather forecast - you can usually count on Cowtown to have favorable temps. Oh well - gonna try to make the most of it and still shoot for that PR!

I'm signed up for the half.

Whether I show up or not - that's the question!

Running the full this time for the first time. Excited to see how the second half is. Not excited about the temps and strong southern headwind. At least there's no risk of ice!

Ran the full back in 2012 (At 140 lbs, 30 lbs lighter than I was in later 2023). If I remember, it was in the mid-40s and sunny. Anything more than about five miles in temps above 75 degrees gets miserable.

Great time and great experience.

Man that was hot. Felt great on the first half. I was putting a quarter of my water on my head/back at the aid stations.

First time doing the full. Felt great on the first half. I thought the wind was going to be worse than it was coming down Main Street. There were spots with good crowds/parties and other times where I almost took a wrong turn with unmanned corners. Miles 20-23 until you got on the trinity were dead. Overall good experience. I've run the half enough times, wanted to see the second half. I think I'm good now. At least the beer was cold.

How was the half?

Though the conditions weren't ideal, I was super thankful to only be running the half. It warmed up quick and I felt bad for the full runners! Overall it was cool enough that I was able to PR. I remember running the full at cowtown in 2018 - it was a ghost town for the back half. I definitely try to run races with more crowds when I can - it helps.

That was my experience back in 2022. I loved the race but, yeah, when you need the most support, it is dead.

Had a decent outing for the half. Far from a PR but I'm not in PR shape. I'm thinking this had to be one of the warmest (if not the warmest) on record.

But really glad we're not running today. Supposed to hit the 90s?!?!?

Decent day. No cloud cover was the worst part. Love this race, but man I hate how the half course changed after Covid. The Lamar underpass at mile 11 sucks so bad. Also miss wrapping around Will Rogers rather than finishing back up Lancaster as well.
