For time. My time sucked as it was fairly warm in the venue and as someone who recovered from a heat stroke event, my body slows down when it gets hot. I also suck at running tired and it is a lot of the event, but I will say I never walked. Slowest I went was a jog. Started getting leg cramps the last 2 rounds and that slowed me even more, but I did finish. 2:01:22
I have also discovered that an intense workout with lots of running and dehydration can actually trigger IBS like symptoms. Fortunately it takes a couple of hours to show up after you stop. I weighed in 1.5 pounds lighter when I got home than when I left the house this morning and that was after drinking a recovery drink and 32oz of water on the way home. I imagine I finished the race another 2-3 pounds lighter due to sweating.
My coach finished in 1 hour 5 min and placed second female overall and I think first in her age bracket. She is a fitness machine.
