Day three of my journey back in the gym. That 4:15am alarm was brutal this morning.
20 minutes on the treadmill with incline followed by a leg workout. Nothing crazy but my main goal for the first couple weeks is to get in the habit of going and doing something. I don't want to burn myself out too soon.
My original plan was a 5 or 6 day PPL split but I'm wondering if I should adjust until my body gets used to lifting again. The extreme soreness in my arms from pull day kept me from doing a full workout on push day. Or maybe I just need to lower the weight and slowly build up.
Just thinking out loud. Thanks for making these threads. They act as sort of a journal for me to keep myself accountable.
