I miss doing that race. They put on a good event. Except when the motorcycle cop leading the field takes a wrong turn.

I did the full back in 2018 back when they had the old route. Instead of doing two loops of the eastern side of the Woodlands you did one ginormous circuitous route all the way back near FM 2978. I called the tour de Woodlands. Good luck to those racing today!

I've only run 1 half marathon before, so it wasn't too hard to PR this one. Got a little warm and sunny at the end but overall a gorgeous morning for racing.
