So been reading a little bit about it and looks like a ton of benefits (I'm a 45 year old Male, good shape).

Place near my house offers injections as well as IV treatments. Have not done the IV yet but have done maybe 5 injections, up to 75MG per dose.

I can honestly say I feel a pretty big difference and would like to make this a routine, problem is both the IV and injections are pretty damn expensive.

Are the pill forms comparable? if so any advice on brands? Any other insight on experience taking NAD?

Let me preface this by saying that I have no experience with NAD+ supplementation. That said, I would work on optimizing my lifestyle before considering taking it; especially as expensive as it is.

  • Resistance & Aerobic Exercise increases NAD+ & SIRT1 activity naturally
  • Caloric Restriction/Intermittent Fasting promotes NAD+ synthesis and reduces NAD+ consumption
  • An anti-Inflammatory diet reduces CD38 activity
  • Sleep optimization supports mitochondrial function and NAD+ homeostasis
  • Limit alcohol - Alcohol depletes NAD+ for metabolism

If you're healthy overall and working toward optimization, I can't imagine supplementing would do anything further. Most of the benefits that I've seen in the literature are in already unhealthy and/or olds.

I've been taking oral supplements for about 5 years now, learned about it through David Sinclair originally when he was on JRE. So, mid 40s when I started, 51 now and still can bench and squat 225, so I certainly feel like I've maintained some level of fitness and strength. But I test it as insurance. Maybe it helps maybe it doesn't, but it shouldn't be harmful, so the upside is huge.

i've started taking 50mg twice per week (self inject at home).

may up it to 100mg. i feel like it has helped my mental clarity and focus some.

i pay $180 for 1,000mg, though I found someone who will do it for $135.

i'm in it for the long term,

fwiw, i also do trt, which has certainly helped me in the gym as a 45 year old.

Thanks for this. My IG feed is blowing up with this stuff and I wanted to know more too.

But I do all of these things listed.

And I squat as much as BigOil without it and I'm a 50 year old woman, so I'm probably good.

I take nad regen from biostack labs as an oral supplement. It's a precursor to NAD production but also has spermadine and reservatol as well, so you're covering several bases.

NAD injections would be 100mg and 2-3 times per week as needed, and much more economical than IVs.
