Just had my first workout at a gym (Tri Fitness located in Clear Lake) catering to 55+. Individualized program with trainers floating around assisting 7 or so of us. The focus is on flexibility, balance, and strength during the hour session. I consider myself fairly athletic but amazing how much we lose with age. For me balance is where I have regressed the most. Also mind/body coordination was a challenge. Did a cone drill, similar to what DBs do in football. It was harder than it looked. I golf so the workout today focused on shoulders and hips. Really enjoyed it and would recommend.
