I'm looking to do full panel testing like Function Health offers to look at my current health, organ function, metabolism, risk factors, etc.

At $500 thought I would check and see what other people's experiences are and if there are any recommended alternatives. One of my bigger concerns is getting post-testing feedback and suggestions from online doctors. Could be a non-factor though, thus looking for other's experiences.

I think Quest/Lab-corp offer the testing and then maybe you go meet with your PCP, a nutritionist, internallist, etc to discuss concerns/plans?

I've had friends use function and they really like it. A true functional medicine Dr will be 4x that just for initial testing. Worth a try IMHO

$499 is actually a pretty fair price for all of the data you get even if it's probably overkill. Even the must-haves, a la carte at Quest or LabCorp, will still cost you more, I would think.

Just be aware that you may end up with some false positives that result in further testing and anxiety and may lead to a bunch of nothing.

$500 is a good price but I haven't gone down this rabbit hole. After looking at all the stuff that is included I don't think it is likely to make any significant difference for me at least.

I largely agree. ~70% of the markers are highly modifiable with lifestyle change. Why not just do that?

Yes, I'm cheap.

Have heard the test/data is great and very comprehensive. However, you still need to have a doctor to discuss results with, provide treatment when necessary, etc.
