Anyone on beta alanine? Currently in the middle of a 3.5g/day build period for 45 days. Still way to early to notice anything, but wondering if anyone else has had any experience with it and if it actually helped with 3-10 min intervals for them or not.

The greatest benefit is in the 1-4 minute range. Marginal gains at best.

I'm all in favor of marginal gains. Will take anything I can get at this point.

And correct about the 1-34in. I posted that while on the trainer and couldn't quite remember so I guessed.

Went on a strong regiment of antioxidant and many of the usual supplements discussed here in January. Liver enzymes and GGT cut in half and in normal range now. I'm shocked. Moderated my booze (to a degree) but too ashamed to admit here what my drinking levels are.

I know it's not the cure but sharing bc I am shocked how well my bloodwork has 180'd. FWIW did bloodwork as a baseline in January. May and July to track trends.

Anyone take ubiquinol (CoQ10)?

Been dealing with dizziness, https://texags.com/forums/48/topics/3599403/last#last

The Vestibular Disorders Association recommends it along with magnesium, b2

CoQ10
Two small but effective studies have shown that CoQ10 may help with migraine prevention. In one study, patients took 150mg of CoQ10 daily for three months and over half of them experienced a 50% reduction in migraine days without side effects. The other study used 100mg three times a day and compared it with a placebo. The CoQ10 was three times more effective at reducing migraine attacks than the placebo, yet some noted stomach upset as a side effect. Some of the side effects may be avoided by splitting the dosage throughout the day. CoQ10 may interact with some medications.

I've been taking all three of those since Covid. I never had an issue that coq10 solved but the supposed protective benefits make it attractive to me. Not expensive either.

Thanks! What form of magnesium do you take? I've tried magnesium threonate before bed but it can make me pretty drowsy the next day. Looking at this one that has oxide, citrate and aspartate

I do take a multivitamin already which has 50mg b-2 already. That article says 400mg. How much are you taking?

1,000mg of L-threonate a few hours before bed has worked really well for me.

30mcg of b12 in my multivitamin. 5mg b2/b6.

Depends on the dose you're thinking and you're cardiac baseline

I've been taking fish oil for a while and haven't had any issues, but if you have heart rhythm concerns, it's worth checking with your doctor before upping your dose.

I've also seen a lot of Omega XL reviews. People say it's easier on the stomach than regular fish oil and helps with joints, but results really vary. Guess it just depends on the person.
