Gonna be in NYC for spring break and my daughter is a HS freshman who joined track just to stay in shape for soccer and run the 800 and is really getting into it...more than I thought she would. She needs new shoes and thought it'd be cool to find a really good place there (maybe one of the brand flagship stores or something) where she could get fit and get some.

This is probably an AggieOO post for the most part but if anyone else has an opinion would love to hear

Are you looking for trainers or track shoes (spikes)?

Not spikes, but something she can use for both

I was in the Adidas flagship store a couple weeks ago, cool store with some unique stuff. However, there was no other looked overly qualified to assist with sport specific shoes.

I was just in NYC/Times Square area this past week and stopped into the Super Runners shop on 7th/49th and it looked really nice, big selection and more specific to running vs a brand flagship store. We were in Adidas and Nike and it seemed more fashion focused.

Consensus is Super Runners Shop, as referenced above.

Go to a running shoe store not a brand store as they will be limited on options for true running shoes.
