what brands do people like? I have a pair from Rabbit that I actually like, but they are less than 18 months old and already coming apart at the seams. I have two pairs of their regular running shorts and the pocket zippers on both pair have broken, so I think I'm done with their expensive gear. They obviously have quality issues.

so open to suggestions for half tights. I run ultras, so definitely want some storage/pockets.

I have some Saucony ones that are solid, but not a lot of storage in them. Just a couple of the drop in pockets on the back

I don't wear them but I hear people like Path Projects brand, they're pricey though.

unfortunately, i've had quality issues with Path Projects shorts too. i love their liners, but I refuse to buy any more of their shorts. And I'm not keen on dropping $100 to see if their half tights don't have issues.

I need to buy new running shorts because of mine are old and starting to fall apart. Did not realize running short prices are now like $50-60 per pair.

Brief lined shorts going away? I get a Lulu credit through AMEX and seems like they no longer have brief lined shorts.

did some reading on reddit and seems like the ACG Lava Loops and Janji are the top two vote getters.

for budget, chicken legs seem to get positive reviews.

I just got some ACG tights and they are the same material as the tights that you witnessed me falling in and that I had to cut the tights off my legs. I really like them and they have added even more pockets. I don't know what the guys ones are like, but I do like the ones I got.

I have run a lot in 2XU. They are longer and come down to just above my knee which kind of annoys me. But love the compression. More popular in triathlon circles for their compression sleeves.

I have been wanting to try others that are shorter. Only wear tights when I go over 2 hours. Keep getting ads for Path, Bandit and Wolaco.

Jangi middle short are my favorite running shorts. Just wish they had more pockets. So I bet their tights are nice.
