Got stung twice on the leg and once on a finger while getting a ladder out of the garage. Some sort of paper wasps. Hurt like hell.
Then 15 mins later, I started getting flush, turning red, and my lips started swelling, my extremities began to IRCG badly, and I felt really weird. Systemic severe allergic reaction. I took 3 Benadryl and the wife ran me to the ER. By thevtimee Ed I got there my breathing was a bit labored and my eyesight was slightly blurred. And I itches incredibly badly all over.
Ended up not quite going into anaphylactic distress, but they did IV me some different antihistamine and steroid. I had to lay there with my vitals being monitored for about 3 hours. I have slowly improved.
Back home now but so tired from Benadryl. On top of that, a huge thunderstorm hit right as we left the ER. Bad wind and heavy rain with much lightning. Now the power is out at my house.
