My wife always gives me a book on Christmas Eve, and this morning she gave me this book about Shermans march to the sea.

Havent read much, but it definitely grabs your attention. It appears the book has this mans research along with first hand accounts from diaries and journals of the time period.

Anyone here read it?

No, but let me know how you like it... I may want to read myself........

An excellent book, some of the unit movement stuff can get tedious and you'll want a good map to go with it while reading but overall the new definitive history on that event.
