Yep if you look at the Texas Historian thread opened by UTT I spoke of a book review in the SWHQ and I believe it was written by that Martinez woman.

The rangers were who they needed to be. It was a dirty job and attracted a certain type.

The author must really be grasping for straws when he mentions that some random guy wrote a book where a Mexican became a Ninja and fought the Texas Rangers.

And is aghast that we erected monuments to them and named counties and towns after them.... oh wait that was for another group of Texans that the Rangers were a part of.

Fails to mention that they are now Texas' version of the FBI...
