Sorry of already posted but an 84 year old guy had some very cool relics in his house. Sad that they are punishing the guy!

When keeping it real as a Hitler fanboy goes wrong.

Lucky for him he is allowed to sell or donate the tank and the 88. I expect he'll still be able to turn a profit for his fine.

What evidence is there that he was a Nazi fanboy? I'm no fanboy but they sure had some cool **** that I wouldn't mind owning? Did he have any stolen art alluded to in the article? In another video I saw it was assumed that local Bundesweher troops maintained the engine and he used it to clear snow several times. Wasn't seeming like he tried to hide the tank. Plus instead scrap in the UK anyways. Now I can't speak about the 88, but again I'd love to have one in the backyard.

All of the Hitler busts and other nazi memorabilia listed in the article as being seized by authorities?

Ok. See that part now. Article wasn't loading all the way. Still doesn't necessarily mean he's a fan boy. Original stuff is worth lots of money and seemed like he was some sort of dealer.

I would enjoy seeing any footage of him clearing snow with the tank, if it exists.

That's doesn't necessarily mean he's a fan boy. However, of I were in Germany I would have sold the Nazi-Nazi stuff (Hitler bust, ss lamp, etc) to a collector years ago. In Germany there is no free speech when it comes to that stuff.

A German citizen born at the beginning of Hitlers power who lived through ALL of WW2 who collected "thousands" of pieces of nazi memorabilia and was put in jail isn't "necessarily" a Nazi but might just be a collector?
