The 1780 Battle of Camden SC was a major defeat for the American Army during the Revolution.

Recent archeology has recovered the remains of 14 casualties of the battle, 12 American, 1 loyalist militia, and one British soldier. Studies of the remains are complete, and they will now be returned to the battlefield.
The ceremonies will be April 20-22 in Camden and at the Battlefield. They include a concert by a band from The Old Guard in DC, an Anglican service, several other events.
