Cool stuff. I have a few friends who will be there, getting massacred again.

Cool history in College Station this weekend too, at the Museum of The American GI. I'll be in WWI Black Watch kit.

Won't make it, but it's a great visit. All of the staff, from the register to the park Ranger we're very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely go if I were going to be anywhere close to the area.

Do they shoot Fannin in the face and steal his watch, despite his last requests?

I'll be missing all my guys that will be at MAGI this weekend too. I assume you're going with Boz and his crew? They are the only guys I know doing Black Watch.

I feel like I've had to have met you at some point now. It's a relatively small world in that community Are you're initials AS?

Andy Anderson the Weatherman will for sure be there. He's been working on his mutton chops.

On another note: my in-laws owned the property on the southeast side of the old underpass on 90 going towards La Bahia and right across the road from the Fair Grounds. He had several old Live Oaks in his yard that were undoubtedly witness trees to the original event.

Andy Andersen is having truck issues and told me he wouldn't be able to make it this year. He's growing out his chops to play Sam Houston at the San Jacinto reenactment on April 22nd.

For any re-enactment types, I saw today that San Jacinto posted a last call for April 21 & 22. Check the San Jacinto monument Facebook page if you're interested and not yet registered.
