as a history major it always freaks me out to see ACTUAL proof of equipment and bunkers and weapons etc etc from 80 years ago!

that there were actually humans who made all of these things

you can read hundreds of books, but in the end they are just dots on a page

when you actually see a King Panther in Belgium it's totally different.
