I have always been fascinated by shipwreck discoveries because they are like a time capsule.

Here is article on the Lac La Belle was built in 1864, in Cleveland, Ohio. The 217-foot (66-meter) steamer ran between Cleveland and Lake Superior but sank in the St. Clair River in 1866 after a collision. The ship was raised in 1869, and reconditioned.

You left out just a few tiny bits of important information.

The ship sank again in 1872 and the wreck was just discovered, apparently in 2026.
