Who's longhorn Bob?

The man was in jail for awhile, he is a classic.

The timeline for Wheeler is:

- Co-Owner of Horn Fans, sells out to the fat beast for $80K.
- Starts LonghornFanZone, runs for awhile
- Rips off his fellow Horns for thousands of dollars on a botched trip to Stillwater.
- Disappears with their money
- Resurfaces on 12thFan.com for a couple days
- Gets arrested and thrown in jail for some time
- Nobody ever hears from him again

I miss Bob.

That guy was the biggest dewshbag I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with...and my dealings with him were limited solely to our interactions on this website. The worst case of little man syndrome I'd ever seen. He would honestly challenge people to fights via this BBS. He'd post addresses and phone numbers for people to contact him if they wanted a fight.

I honestly think that he's a bona fide headcase.

Yes, Mack had him run off. He was the rare soul that could get Horns, Aggies, and Sooners to all hate the same person. Although I think most Aggies and Sooners just enjoyed the circus that seemed to follow wherever Bob went.

back in the early, early days of the boards... i placed a bet with him... winner buys drinks... can't remember what the bet was..but i lost

being the good aggie that i am.. i met up with him in austin (97 timeframe i think) to pay up on my bet.. we went down for the a&m game/tu game

anyways... in person, his bark was so much bigger than his bite... he was actually a pretty funny guy.. the more he drank, the funnier he got. (complete lightweight btw)

he actually never went to tu... just was a huge fan of the horns

i paid up on my bet... we drank and carried on for a good while.. went to yell practice, etc.

my wife thought he was a nerd :-)

That's probably true of most people. Few people have the capacity to be as malicious in person as they can be on a message board. Those who do are generally sociopaths.

LHFZ was the best board going for a long while, esp. those years (2000-2003) when OU beat the every living **** out of UT. His takes were greatness.

Longhorn Bob is what follows the Longhorn Kneel.

He posted on Texags before he started Hornfans and was a total dewsh.

I seem to remember him finding out Muy's office number and calling his boss to tell him that Muy was spending time on message boards giving him a hard time.

He even had a short lived radio show in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market on a station for which I couldnt get decent reception. I know he lost a risy bundle on that. Over $35k from what he posted.

I slept with his mother on several occasions (with his dad's permission BTW) and she told me that his private parts were permanently rendered useless at birth during his circumcision.

These posts do not do justice to how funny the guy could be. In the late 1990s, his posts on his own website about the Longhorns, Aggies, and Sooners were legendary and were forwarded on to friends. Even many Ags thought he was hilarious. I don't have any of his posts, but I wish someone would post just one to give the young 'uns a taste.

His rant over Texas vs Nebraska in the B12 championship game, followed by their bball team playing someone in Austin later the same day was an all time classic.

I will never, ever forget his OU 2000 rant. It was epic.

This. He was a regular on Texags late nineties, early 2000s. He did challenge people to fight, claimed to be a karate expert.

He challenged me one time so I gave him my name, address and phone number, asked him to come "visit."

He never showed. Just kept on posting his normal BS.

I agree, he was a dewshbag. He was the definition of "dewshbag." Or maybe it's "******bag."
