Just to keep things in perspective, rev you up for the football season, and remind you why Aggieland is so great....
I've posted about this before, but I started a thread on the Automotive Board:
Post Pictures of old Farm Equipment
We lost my Dad, class of '49, on Christmas Day 2011. This will be the first season the Aggie football team will have to get along without him in a very long time.
A lot of the antique tractor pictures are of ones he collected, and he is in some of the old photos posted. The thread is a fun one, and some neat stuff got posted.
But the thread took a totally different turn on Page Three, when Czervik 86 chimed in about 3/4 of the way down the page.
Note: his user name is now Cas Walker
Read it, I think it will resonate with a lot of Ags.
His post meant a lot to the family. Mom purchased season tickets again this year, even though she isn't very able to go, and not many of the family are able to attend often, either.
But my son, class of 2009, will be in the seats for the SEC opener. His wife (2008) won't be able to make it (med school) so he's bringing a friend who has never been to an Aggie game.
Say hello, make sure it's an unforgettable game for his friend.
