I have a cousin and brother in law there now. From what I've heard, last semester's grades were something like the worst in ten years, Corps wide.

If the grades are so bad, what is the point of cutting CQ? It was the only thing that made me at least pretend to study. I'm sure some real studying got done in there.

AAAAAAAAGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!! That's awful! What next? Will they be wearing the French berets with their footie pajamas??!!! One thing I didn't see in the list was middle of the night "come-by's... What started all of this mess?

Just to piss of folks a little bit more, requirement for B's or better in the MSC is no longer a requirement from my understanding.

I heard no more square meals for fish either.

I had heard about no more CQ...I actually studied during CQ. Kept me in check, especially when the JCQ (junior in charge of CQ) would come around and check to make sure we weren't dicking around on facebook or the internet.

No lights out? Seriously? What's the point of that? Fish and PHs can stay up as long as they want and be worthless the next day?

No more boot pulls during academic day? Because taking 2 minutes from a fish's day to BS and chill out with a zip is so detrimental to a fish's poor little hands and mind? Good grief.

I understand g-ram wants to increase numbers, but he's sacrificed too much of the identity of the corps to do it. Having heard about how much of a "redass" cadet he was back in the day I supported him in the beginning, now I can't wait till he leaves. Heard rumors that many former cadets stopped donating money to the CCA.

Jock 07, here is the low down on the B's or higher uniform.. The General said he will be damned if someone tells him the corps can't wear ACU's, a uniform that any aggie serving can die in, will not be allowed in a building meant to honor those that have gone before us in war.

High Porting is gone.. Apparently something to do with should injuries.. idk
CQ is replaced by evening study time. Basically it is the same thing, but rather be forced to study for 3 hours, which no one did, starting after evening formation until 6AM you are free to sleep and study as you please. Some college students do better studying at midnight.
Boot Pulls are still around
Uniforms to finals is because final review happens before finals happens. Final Review signifies the end of the year.

You guys *****ing about the way you hear things are going in the Corps, man up and contact BG Rameriz. I have done so on several occasions and he will gladly explain his reasoning and listen to your point of view. The man is very approachable. Even has his own facebook page. IMO, he will do great things for the Corps.

By the way, grades are up this year. Avg GPA is better then the general student body. And if he is wussifying the Corps, how come our teams continue to kick ass and take names at national ROTC competitions and our cadets conitue to excell at whatever the hell they call ROTC Summer Camp these days.

A female as guidon? That's a first. Do the guidons still high port during runs?

That's how it was from 73 to 78 while I was there. Shorts and flip flops to finals!
