aaaagh! just had to turn down an interview with jackson appel. that sucks royally! my partner would not be ready to go for another 45 min. and unfortunately he's got the keys to the studio to record the interview.

jackson is definitely one of the guys i'd like to get for our show. a leader on defense, a guy we will see on sundays, and a local guy (friendswood). fortunately, it looks as if A&M will be nice enough to give us another shot same time next week. i hope. better not blow that one!

just sucks that we could not do it today. hopefully, we will have it next week.

Ah that sucks, but it would've sucked even more to see his name misspelled beneath him as you talked to him

sorry about the spelling, i do know how to spell his name, i was just a little distraught over having to move the interview. sorry.

the reason why i did not mention what station i'm on was because this was not a stupid, shameless plug for the show; and because i have mentioned the show in the past on other threads.

the show is in houston, and on every thurs. morning from 6-9am 'ridin the pine'. the station is 89.7 fm. we talk a lot of Aggie football, because it is my biggest passion in sports. but we definitely, cover everything, and in an unbiased nature. to prove that we'll have coach leach (ttu) on this coming thurs. morning and we talk about the series between ttu & aTm (the interview was taped yesterday). so please for those of you who can pick up the station, listen in, call or email. we love the feedback.

just a heads up. in case you do listen, i had said earlier, that we will take your calls, but because our station is live (no delay) we generally do not put calls on the air. we can't have some yahoo getting on the air and dropping f-bombs. for some reason the fcc frowns on that kind of thing, who knew? the best way to get to us is the aforementioned email address.
