AGGIES

National Champions
1917, 1919, 1927, 1939
It was a long road for Rockledge (Fla.) standout Jashaun Corbin , but in the end, it came down to three schools – Texas A&M, TCU, and Tennessee. He took official visits to all three, hosted their coaches and did his research. Then he made his announcement and committed to Texas A&M.
Even though the Aggies did not offer until December, they had a few factors working in their favor down the stretch. The biggest factor was head coach Jimbo Fisher and running backs coach Jay Graham’s previous relationship with Corbin and his family. Corbin was committed to Florida State before he re-opened his recruiting process after Fisher left for College Station, and now they are re-united at Texas A&M.
Corbin took his official visit to Texas A&M in January with his mother and grandfather, and at the time he knew the Aggies would be hard to beat.
“It’s going to be hard to top A&M, and the program is amazing,” Corbin texted. “Nothing but great things!”
His decision gives the Aggies a big win on the trail and added depth at running back.
As a senior at Rockledge, Corbin recorded 2,252 all-purpose yards and 23 touchdowns. You can view his highlights below:
