Recruiting Country: The latest recruiting news surrounding the Maroon & White
Key notes from Recruiting Country
-
It's a big weekend, absolutely. You're fighting other big games in the region in OU/Texas in Dallas and LSU/Florida in Baton Rouge. You got guys who, at this point, still don't know where they're going. I will say this, no matter what, there will be a ton of talent in Aggieland this weekend. It's got to be an interesting weekend for the staff. One of the biggest games of the year and a ton of talent on campus. Demond Demas and Fadil Diggs will both be in town this weekend on official visits, as well as Chris Morris and a few others.
-
I think Chris Morris is the guy we're on commit watch for. He will be in town this weekend, and it's down to A&M, Alabama, and Tennessee. Omari Thomas will be another interesting one to watch this year.
-
Alfred Collins out of Bastrop Cedar Creek will also be in town this weekend on an official visit. People thought he was out on the Aggies, but he will be here this weekend, so you never know. More names to see this weekend: Antonio Doyle and EJ Smith will be in town, those are both well-known targets.
-
The latest addition to our visitor list is Zach Evans. With him, you just never know. If he does make it in, it'll be an official visit. The critical caveat, if he makes it in. We'll keep an eye on it. This recruiting is very fluid, as always. If he makes it in this weekend, it's becoming a trend if he just keeps showing up.

Devon Achane got it done this week. He went six carries for 216-yards, two touchdowns, and was out of the game by halftime.
Ask Brauny
Most likely uncommitted visitor to pull the trigger?
Chris Morris is on watch, but you never know what could happen with these guys on a big weekend like this.
What are the chances Evans, Morris, and Doyle all commit this weekend?
3%. That would be like hitting the wildest three-game parlay ever.
Do we have a chance with Alfred Collins?
Yes, if he's taking a visit, then he is interested in seeing what Texas A&M has to offer. He doesn't seem like a kid who is just enjoying the process; he's doing his homework.
