Key notes from Kathryn Greenwade interview

  • Muster is one of the most sacred traditions - if not the most sacred tradition - at Texas A&M. There are three components: the worldwide role call, campus Muster and then the local A&M Clubs Muster. Obviously, we cannot gather in 2020, so we had to get creative with how we're going to continue Muster. All three components will go on this year. That's great news, and all three are going to be available on musterlive.aggienetwork.com.

  • You can virtually answer 'Here' for loved ones. There will be a candle icon where you can record that you answered 'Here' for a specific individual.

  • Aggies can watch the campus Muster at 7:00 p.m., and throughout the day, we will show different A&M club Musters.

  • When we reflect on the Corregidor Muster of 1942, they did not gather specifically for Muster. They were under heavy fire. That serves as a reminder to us that Muster doesn't have to be a formal gathering. What is important about Muster is the spirit that binds us together, whether that's physically or virtually.
