2024 Timpson ATH Terry Bussey commits to Texas A&M
Texas A&M has had great success recruiting the small school ranks over the last few recruiting cycles, and the Aggies have again struck big as Timpson standout Terry Bussey announced his college decision.
Bussey has been a playmaker extraordinaire at Timpson in every phase of the game. He is electric with the ball in his hands, and he is a rangy, cover corner with great instincts for the ball in the defensive secondary. On special teams, his abilities in the return game are known far and wide.
His skills have made Bussey a priority target for college coaches across the country. At 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, his size, skill set and athleticism have made him a priority for the Aggies in the secondary.
Bussey becomes the 22nd member of Texas A&M’s 2024 class, and he is the second Aggie commitment from East Texas in this cycle, along with Longview’s Dealyn Evans.
As a junior, Bussey passed for over 2,100 yards and rushed for over 2,500 yards and 46 touchdowns on his way to district MVP honors. He was also district overall MVP as a sophomore, and he was the district offensive MVP as a freshman. Bussey is also a standout in basketball and track, and he is currently ranked No. 10 in the TexAgs 2024 Texas Top 100.
