So you think Jimbo is coaching him to throw it to the wrong guy? lol. That's quite a stretch. Conner didn't throw to the wrong receivers so that kinda ruins the common denominator argument.

Jimbo has a lot of issues we can place blame on him for but a QB making the wrong read is just crazy.

This. Emphasize quick hitting throws as a coach to adjust to your QB.

My hope is that they take advantage of this bye week and correct the easily correctable before Scar game.

The best thing they can do for Max is scheme so that all he has to do is make a pre-snap read, three-step drop and release the ball according to the read.

The problem with that is, I've seen him miss obvious pre-snap reads all year.

He just simply doesn't see the field very well and is slow to process on top of that.

It is what it is.

Jimbo was sold as some QB Whisperer...you'd think his QB's would make better reads, but they don't.

We've seen Conner play all of, what 4 complete games, some against very weak NC opponents. He made some wrong reads as well.

McGee has said "take the easy play" (or something like that), when referring too some bad decisions every game this season and in almost every game the he's reviewed the last 5+ seasons.

Mond, Calzada, King, Weigman and Johnson all seem to do the same thing. They have no clue where the quick outlet is and where the "easy play" is available. Many of these are in fact pre-snap reads, not holding the ball to long.

He has pointed out that Max does hold the ball to long, don't disagree with that.

Weigman does not belong in the same group as all the rest. It has been extremely evident that he processes things much faster and sees the field better than any QB we've seen since Manziel. The fact he was #2 in ESPN's QBR until he got injured is a testament to how good he actually is.

Weigman does have flaws but they are significantly less than all the QB's you listed. He covers up a lot of issues that have become more glaring since his injury. However, his injury might allow us to move on from Fisher a lot sooner than if he had remained healthy.

. Yes, Agree Weigman is better. Not trying to be argumentative. I've been watching the Film Room episodes for as long as they've aired. Just pointing out McGee says a lot of the same things for all the QB's.

Also I think Jimbo was a mistake from the get go (obviously I'm biased), and the extension…well the Aggie Jokes write themselves sometimes.
