2025 Shadow Creek CB Cobey Sellers commits to Texas A&M

The Aggies have dipped back into the talent-rich waters of south Houston today to land their latest commitment in the class of 2025 as Shadow Creek CB Cobey Sellers‍ has announced his verbal pledge to Mike Elko & Co.

The 6-foot, 175-pound cover man is the 11th member of this cycle’s haul for the Maroon & White. 

Sellers reeled in offers from across the country, but he ultimately chose A&M over Oklahoma, Texas, and Michigan.

He joins Katy Paetow’s Deyjhon Pettaway‍ and Phoenix (AZ) native Jamar Beal-Goines‍ in the future defensive back room of coaches Jordan Peterson and Ish Aristide. 

There’s a whole lot to like about Sellers, both in terms of physical attributes and on-field performance.

The film shows a kid with an advanced set of coverage skills. He’s got great feet, quality straight-line speed and a willingness to get after it in man coverage. His change of direction and feel for space also help him in zone concepts.
