2025 Danville (CA) linebacker Marco Jones commits to Texas A&M
Mike Elko & Co. have reeled in a big fish from the West Coast to add to their 2025 recruiting class as Danville (CA) San Ramon Valley OLB Marco Jones has announced his verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
Considered by many to be one of the top players in California, Jones becomes the Aggies' 18th pledge in this cycle.
At 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, Jones is a terror off the edge. His combination of power and speed is unique for high school prospects. He’s also versatile enough to play in coverage or spin down to a true defensive end. He’s violent at the point of attack and offers an advanced set of pass-rush skills for his age.
Jones is a terrific overall athlete, as he’s also one of the top bats out west on the baseball diamond.
You can view his tape below.
Jones raked in offers from across the country, but he ultimately chooses the Aggies over Michigan, Texas and USC.
