E Stew was in a tough situation. I don't blame him at all and wish him the best.

He was in the exact position as Martellus Bennett. Marty was an excellent tight end who then inherited an option coach. He literally blocked 98% of the time. Had he had the same opportunity as Evan, he would've been gone too. I can't blame him for leaving an archaic offense for one where he actually has an opportunity to flourish.

Technically the "buyout" was the 25% of the 10 year guaranteed contract that was due within 60 days of Jimbo's termination. The rest of the money was going to be paid to him whether he was coaching the team or not.
